Airline Unveils Major Expansion in Charlotte

Avelo Airlines, which has grown its presence in the Charlotte area, is launching a major expansion with a new base at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport. According to Queen City News, CEO Andrew Levy announced Wednesday that the expansion will include new aircraft, routes, and up to 55 new jobs. Starting in April, Avelo will offer flights to two new destinations, Nashville and Daytona Beach, with one-way fares as low as $44.
The airline offers flights out of Concord to the following:
- Albany, N.Y. (ALB)
- Boston / Manchester, N.H. (MHT)
- Daytona Beach, Fla. (DAB)
- Hartford, Conn. (BDL)
- Nashville, Tenn. (BNA)
- New Haven, Conn. (HVN)
- Orlando / Lakeland, Fla. (LAL)
- Philadelphia / Wilmington, Del. (ILG)
- Rochester, N.Y. (ROC)
