Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper and his wife, Nicole, are stepping up to assist communities affected by Hurricane Helene in the Carolinas with a generous $3 million donation. The storm has wreaked havoc across both North and South Carolina, resulting in significant flooding and widespread power outages.
This funding will be directed toward immediate and long-term humanitarian aid and recovery efforts. According to WBTV, in North Carolina alone, 29 counties and 52 towns have declared States of Emergency, reflecting the extensive impact of the storm. Additionally, Governor Roy Cooper has issued a statewide State of Emergency to address the crisis. The Tepper family’s contribution aims to support the affected areas as they work to recover and rebuild in the wake of this natural disaster. The relief efforts will be crucial in assisting those who have lost homes, power, and essential services due to the storm’s destructive path.
