Roughly a month ago, the Carolina Panthers had only one practice field with extensive construction where the old practice bubble used to stand.
Today, they’re poised for a strong start to the 2024 training camp with an impressive new setup.
According to WBTV, the Panthers now boast two brand-new grass practice fields and ample seating for fans to observe practices.
Preparations are complete for the team’s first practice on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. A significant effort went into erecting this facility in a short period. Fans will enter via the West 4th Street entrance, where amenities include a team store and concessions offering food and beverages.
Each end zone of both fields features covered bleachers to shield fans from the sun.
To combat the heat, the Panthers have introduced a 200,000 BTU cooling trailer, accommodating up to 20 players at a refreshing 20-degree temperature. Stocked with snacks and drinks, it provides essential relief during practice sessions. The entire facility came together swiftly, with fan comfort a top priority in the planning process. Witnessing its completion marks a touchdown moment for the franchise.
